All RapidScat services are discontinued following an irrecoverable instrument failure on
August 19, 2016. NASA's International Space Station Rapid Scatterometer (ISS-RapidScat)
Earth science instrument has ended operations following a successful two-year mission
aboard the space station. The mission launched on September 21, 2014.
The RapidScat winds have been reprocessed into a Climate Data Record which is available
from the EUMETSAT Data Centre, see this page.
