Description
This viewer combines regional scatterometer wind data from ASCAT on Metop-B and Metop-C (12.5 km coastal wind products thinned to 25 km). The last 22 hours of data is shown in the plot. The top overview plot shows warning levels based on the differences between scatterometer and ECMWF forecast winds. The bottom overview plot shows color coded wind speed measurements. If you click somewhere in one of the plots, a picture appears showing the most recent scatterometer winds in more detail. Older data can be displayed as well when available. For more information on the individual products please follow the links in the menu on the right hand side.
